Combative Arts Academy offers students a custom designed conditioning program to complement their martial arts training.

The program includes:

  • Flexibility
    • Postural alignment
    • Joint range of motion
    • Muscular elasticity
  • Endurance
    • Anaerobic threshold analysis
    • Lactate threshold analysis
    • Heart rate analysis (work load and recovery)
  • Strength and Conditioning
    • Training analysis (do you have a program and does it work?)
    • Relative strength as related to goal specific activities
    • One rep max assessment (define strength limits)

• Strength Conditioning – personalized program
  Your strength-training program will be custom designed just for you.
  After we assess your limitations, we then determine your goals. Are they specific to competition, self-defense or just getting in great shape?
  In any case, we want results!
  Each program includes:
  • Four private sessions
  • Stability and core training
  • Resistance training
  • Six week written program
  • Final evaluation and phase 2 outline

• Cardiovascular Conditioning
  We don't know anyone who actually likes doing cardio. So we give you the most bang for your buck. How much do you really need to do? How much do your classes count? What recreational activities count?
  • Cardio analysis
  • Cross training analysis
  • Written program design

We believe the best way to get in shape is through self-education and self-discipline. Our program is designed to give you the knowledge and tools to do it on your own, with expert guidance!
